Dear Ralf,
Thank you for contacting Hosting Support.
Our
Web Site and
Virtual Dedicated Server Service Agreement
prohibits the use of our shared hosting
plans as a repository for archive files or
files that are to be downloaded through
other web sites. Currently, your hosting for
archive.ralf-haifisch.biz appears to have no
web page content whatsoever and consists
only of archive and ISO files. Hosting
Support would not be able to provide
interpretation of the Web Site and Virtual
Dedicated Server Service Agreement and would
therefore be unable to quote sections of
that agreement that apply to this situation.
You can find more information on Online File
Folder on the following page:
Online File Folder
Please let us know if there is anything else
we can assist you with.
Sincerely,
Jarrod A.

Dear support,
i am supprised… I myself told your
collegues because of a problem how I use my
stuff.
So in no way I thought breaking any rules.
Even after reading the link you send, I
don´t find the point I break. I did read
that before booking.
Could you quote the text in quest ??
I am working on the bigger open source
projects in the world (www.opensim.org,
www.osgrid.org) and we redirect from other
posting to the content of /svn-trunk. I
assume that is ok for you ??
So (even being in quote, using only a little
part of bandwith, preotecting the access to
other people) the /stuff is use for server
to server transfer is the part that is maybe
problematic ??
I am not running a file sharing service or
something similar at all. I would call it
usual for a website to offer downloads and
have administrative ftp-spaces. ?!?
Until the 3rd I could not change to other
places, so I could only tell the other dev,
techies and user that godaddy is not willing
to host our small repository.
Where do I find this “online file folderâ€
??
I have an webserver online J
And I did book Diskspace via your menu:
è With respect to the very very short time
given, please answer imidiantly. thanks
Cheers,
Ralf

Support Staff Response
Dear Sir/Madam,
It has come to our attention that your
archive.ralf-haifisch.biz hosting account is
being used as a file repository. This is a
direct violation of our Terms of Service.
All files that are stored on a hosting
account, must be used for a working
traditional website. You may review the
Storage and Security section of our Web
Site and Virtual Dedicated Server Service
Agreement for further clarification.
You have until March 3rd, 2009 at 5amto
remove all the files not being referenced to
a website. Specifically, the following are
currently in violation:
/stuff
/opensim-trunk-svn
Failure to comply will result in access to
the files and/or directories in question to
be removed on your behalf. If you are
interested in keeping file backups, you will
need to purchase the Online File Folder, a
Virtual Dedicated Server, or a Dedicated
Server.
Once you have corrected this issue, please
call us at 480-505-8871, or reply to this
email and specify the content that you have
removed so that we can review this issue
further. We appreciate your understanding
and cooperation in this matter.
Sincerely,
Weylin B.
